In the fast lane: precision at the push of a button
The EDIFICE EQW-A1000DB-1AER with innovative SMART ACCESS technology

Norderstedt, September 2011 - When every hundredth of a second counts, one shouldn't leave anything to chance. The professionals from Red Bull Racing also know this, supported for years now by Casio as Official Team Partner. The Formula 1 Team, including the current world champion Sebastian Vettel and his team colleague Mark Webber, therefore rely on a combination of state-of-the-art technology, dynamics and design when it comes to timekeeping: on the high-quality EDIFICE EQW-A1000DB-1AER from Casio.

The new EDIFICE really steps on the gas thanks to its SMART ACCESS technology. Five independently-running motors drive the hour, minute and second hands as well as the large display disc and the date display. The result: when switching functions, all hands are immediately in position and the function can be started. A further highlight: the electronic crown with magnetic sensor. It enables quick access to all important features and convenient adjustment of the hands at the touch of a button. It doesn't matter whether it's the Formula 1 in Japan, Monaco, China or Canada - the multiband 6 radio-controlled signal reception receives the exact time at any location. Due to the TOUGH SOLAR technology, the energy supply is guaranteed around the clock. And also optically the EDIFICE EQW-A1000DB takes the pole position with its solid stainless steel casing and wristband. With this innovation, "man" is truly in the fast lane - in every respect.
