Altimeter (types)
Relative altitude:
The relative altitude indicates the difference in altitude between two different locations, e.g. the altitude on the roof of a building measured from the ground floor.
Absolute altitude:
The absolute altitude measures the actual altitude of a location from sea level, e.g. the height from the roof of a building measured from sea level.
