G-SHOCK GA-2000
The latest G-SHOCK boasts stylish, flexible toughness
Crafted in carbon. The new G-SHOCK GA-2000 debuts with Carbon Core Guard technology, whereby the watch module inside is cushioned with carbon. This makes the GA-2000 very light (64 grams), despite all its toughness. A further added value is offered by the innovative strap latch for G-SHOCK, which invites the user to personalise it with whatever strap they please.
Until now, G-SHOCK has mainly manufactured its watches from synthetic resin or high-quality stainless steel, whereby these materials provided the special toughness of the watches. The GA-2000 marks the first time that carbon technology has been used.
The first two GA-2000 models are presented in a matt black case in the colour variations yellow and blue. On the black dial, which has an interesting depth effect, the hands and other details take up the colour accents of the straps again.
Over the course of the year, the variety of styles for these models will be further enhanced. Exchangeable straps make the new G-SHOCK series a real fashion chameleon. Whether tone-in-tone to match the case or with high-contrast colour blocking – the GA-2000 can be adapted to any outfit. Various exchangeable straps, which will be available separately this summer for the first time, round off the flexible style concept perfectly.
These first versions of the new GA-2000 will be available in March 2019 for a suggested retail price of € 129 at selected G-SHOCK dealers. A dealer search can be found at http://www.g-shock.de.

The CASIO engineers pursued the "Triple 10" concept – shock resistance to a 10-metre drop, 10-bar water resistance and a single battery with a life of 10 years.
