Casio EDIFICE EQW-A1200DB: dynamics and precision the key to success
The top-of-the-range model in the EDIFICE collection sets new technological benchmarks and impresses customers from the word go.

Norderstedt, February 14, 2014 — Casio Computer Co. Ltd. went into 2013 with the goal of launching a dynamic and reliable, top-of-the-range model for the active man, in the form of the Casio EDIFICE EQW-A1200DB. Today one thing is certain: the spearhead of the EDIFICE collection is on the road to success. With its concept of “Speed & Intelligence”, inspired by the cooperation with the four-time Formula 1™ World Champions at the Infiniti Red Bull Racing team, the model has impressed customers from the word go.

The multi-functional chronograph, which is available in different colours, boasts a tough design developed specially for the needs of the Infiniti Red Bull Racing mechanics. The module is encased in an extremely vibration-resistant Alpha Gel, which cushions the vibrations produced by the percussion drill when changing tyres. The soft silicone gel effectively absorbs vibrations, even in extreme conditions. Furthermore, the connection between the case and the strap has also been reinforced with a carbon insert. The state-of-the-art technology has not only impressed the team behind champion Sebastian Vettel, but also EDIFICE customers around the world.

The sporty chronograph is equipped with a compact direction sensor. The second hand acts as a compass needle, allowing the wearer to use this compass function to check his course at a glance. This makes the watch an ideal travel companion.

As well as Multiband 6 technology for receiving radio signals, the watch also features the innovative SMART ACCESS system. A simple rotation of the crown allows the wearer to configure the watch to save up to ten lap times, the fastest lap, and perform other functions.
