Norderstedt, August 2007 - The name G-SHOCK has stood for power, robustness and innovation for 25 years. Once again, CASIO has succeeded in reaching new technical and creative dimensions with the new G-SHOCK G-7700-1ER. It is the first G-SHOCK with a stopwatch measuring with an accuracy of 1/1000 seconds – and shows the result on a brilliantly readable display. Complex watch technology within the smallest space, protected by a housing architecture that absorbs strokes and impacts like a real shock buffer: Before serial production every watch model proves that it can pass the so called "Tough Tests": the hard bounce, the shake test, the relentless water pressure. The person wearing this watch demonstrates toughness himself – and proves he knows what he is aiming for.

The watch for men in the fast lane

The extreme tough look of the G-7700 is also caused by the cool designed wristband with a furrowed texture, inspired by high-tech materials. The new technology concept was developed especially for the motor sports sector. Here the smallest time differences are decisive, and have to be safe and easily readable in all circumstances - down to 1/1000 second. But that is not all: for the first time the G-7700-1ER functions as an orientation device for the entire year. The display shows the current week as well as the previous and following days of the year. When setting the alarm you can decide if it shall be set to go off once, daily, only on weekends or only on workdays. With every detail the new G-7700 is the perfect watch for all those who live their life in the fast lane – or at least in the virtual pit lane: fast, tough, precise and full of interest and fun with technical innovations.
