Athletes want to know more than just the exact time: The new sports watch from PHYS featuring a pedometer

STP-100-1VER

Norderstedt, August 2007 - CASIO has been developing attractive sports watches with a number of practical functions under the brand name PHYS for many years. Because dedicated athletes want to know more than just the time, they want as much additional information about their activities as possible - comfortably, ergonomically and with as little weight as possible on the wrist. The new STP-100-1VER fulfils all these requirements with a lot of attention to the technological detail. This is how the watch, weighing just 40 grams, calculates distances and counts calories, possesses a lap time memory which stores the last 10 lap results, and a stop watch that measures with an accuracy of 1/100 second.

Reaching the goal step by step: The sports watch with attitude

At the heart of the STP-100-1VER is a pedometer that counts steps. The vibration sensor of the pedometer saves and counts the steps of the watch wearer. If the average length of the steps has already been entered, information about the distance covered will also be available. If the watch has been programmed with the wearer's bodyweight, the same mechanism can also calculate approximate calorie consumption. The sports watch appeals to both men and women. The design is simple and functional, the form ergonomic: The deep black of the casing and the light, clearly laid out and easy to read display create an exciting contrast. This model attaches to the wrist like a second skin.
