Learning how to play music with fun – a main focus with CASIO. Also
the newest generation of Lighting Key keyboards demonstrates, how
children, adolescents and adults are made acquainted with an instrument
in a manner that enhances their enthusiasm. This is achieved
through a huge array of functions combined with genuine fun elements
and, of course, the tried and tested 3-level interactive Lighting Key
Lesson System for fast results while rehearsing. LK-300TV, LK-200S
and LK-100 are the names of the new Lighting Key keyboards by
CASIO, which offer edutainment for all from August 2006 on.
LK-300TV is the star trainer among the LK models. The keyboard is
connected to a TV with a video cable, and immediately the own voice
can be superimposed on newest chart hits singing the indicated original
words. Due to the USB port, the new SD card slot and the internal
memory of 320 KB, favourite hits are easily downloaded (as MIDI files),
and the karaoke party can begin. The TV connection also optimally
supports key training, as now all didactic elements of the 3-level
Interactive Lesson System are completely displayed on the screen, the
correct fingering, for instance. Hence, the player is always informed
about his progress and highly motivated to reach the next lesson level.
For this purpose, CASIO has equipped its star coach twice the number
of tones and numerous new sounds and rhythms. Together with
the eight digital effects (four reverbs, four choruses), this produces an
unbelievable variety of sounds, which can be explored step by step.

LK-200S is a modern Lighting Key keyboard, which is optimally equipped
for downloading new favourite songs, featuring USB, SD card slot
and song extension (320 KB / 10 Songs). And due to the fact that singing
is also a great hit with today's youth, it also features an easy-touse
Sing Along function. Simply connect the microphone contained in
the package and set off together with the accompaniment. From one
time to next the voice will improve. After all, hitting the right notes can
be learnt equally well in self-study as pressing the right keys. The
3-level Interactive Lesson System and the 61 Lighting Keys provide for
continuous progress with keyboard training. Great light bulb moments
on the road to becoming an aspiring newcomer on the keyboard are
included. With regard to sound, LK-200S is already equipped for the
large appearance: The powerful HL sound chip generates 8 additional
digital effects and offers 264 tones. 20 rhythms and 100 songs provide
for proper accompaniments.

LK-100 is the smallest Lighting Key keyboard, yet it already has much
to offer. It commands the 3-level lesson system, making learners
acquainted with notes, key sequences and tempo. A valuable learning
aid in this respect is the Voice Fingering Guide: The correct fingering is
announced and additionally displayed on the large LCD. Hence, the
100 integrated rehearsal tunes will soon flow easily as the player discovers
and stirs the many possibilities of his instrument with glee. The
100 tones and 50 rhythms, for instance. An additional microphone
input and the corresponding volume control – a typical added value
feature of CASIO – guarantee for even more fun while discovering
musical worlds.
