G-SHOCK by CASIO with Altimeter and Multiband 6 radio-controlled Technology
Simply brilliant: The new G-SHOCK GW-9200-1ER Norderstedt, August 2008 – In the middle of the 1990s, CASIO created the G-SHOCK RISEMAN, offering not only classic G-SHOCK features like shock-resistance, water-resistance up to 20 bar and extremely long life, but also adding several outdoor features. This watch quickly became the highlight on the market. And now, 10 years later, CASIO has brought the RISEMAN concept back to life with the G-SHOCK GW-9200-1ER - a new, spectacular all-in-one watch that is unmistakeable in technology, function and design. Multiband 6: The first G-SHOCK by CASIO with 6 radio signal receivers The GW-9200-1ER is the first watch by CASIO to utilise advanced Multiband 6 radio-controlled technology. The GW-9200-1ER is thus equipped with a radio receiver that encodes six radio signals and can therefore for the first time also access the Chinese radio signal. It is an exciting new development just in time for the 2008 Olympic games in Beijing and another sign of the CASIO spirit for innovation. What's more, the GW-9200-1ER features functions that are usually only found in specialised outdoor models by CASIO. They include a display that shows altimeter, barometer and thermometer measurements as well as an internal memory for storing the data. The GW-9200-1ER is also water-resistant up to 20 bar and thanks to Tough Solar technology, it runs on solar energy, making it environmentally friendly and efficient. Without a doubt, the GW-9200-1ER is the G-SHOCK by which to compare all others. Thanks to innovative outdoor functions and the stylish design, RISEMAN has found a way to combine sportsmanship with style. The new GW-9200-1ER features the following functions:
