Hamburg, February 21, 2007 - Not only do women want to move up the career ladder more quickly, they also want to achieve peak performance in the sports arena and on the race track. By launching the CHF-100 on the market, watch manufacturer CASIO supports this development with its first ladies’ running watch under the innovative PHYS label. With its sporty asymmetrical design and the ergonomic matching of the casing and band to the wrist, as well as its extremely low weight, it ensures optimum wearing comfort. The watches are available in the colours pink CHF-100-4VER and black CHF-100-1VER.
Wireless data transmission from the chest belt to the watch
Equally outstanding are the numerous, easy to use functions with which the wearer can measure and record her performance figures. The core function is the LAP Memory for measuring lap and elapsed times and saving them for later comparison. Two countdown timers and a 1/100 second stopwatch are included as well. The makes sure that all data and information can be easily read even in the most inclement weather or at night.
Indispensable for many sportswomen is the integral wireless heart rate reader, which transmits all vital data to the watch via a scarcely noticeable, lightweight chest belt. The runner can achieve long-term optimisation of her training programme by monitoring the heart rate performance with the heart rate strain display. The heart rate target alarm and calorie consumption display are further sources of information from which top-level sportswomen can also profit just as much as ambitious hobby runners.
