The new business projectors XJ-S35 and XJ-S30 from CASIO: Presentation without PC or Notebook

Norderstedt, August 2006 – Presentations are an important part of everyday business life nowadays. Reliable technology is very important for the presenter. With the new Super Slim projectors XJ-S35 and XJ-S30, CASIO is introducing two powerful devices for professional use totally without a PC. In a high-quality design, both models convince through innovative technology and simple operability. In the 2,000 ANSI Lumen class, they are the world's flattest devices. The XJ-S35 and XJ-S30 are even ready for use with very bright ambient light. Also impressive: the height of 32 mm at the thinnest point, a circumference smaller than a sheet of paper and a weight of 1.8 kg. With these measurements, transportation is quite easy. A further feature of the new CASIO projectors is the possibility of PC-free presentation. The XJ-S35 does not need a laptop or PC at all – a commercially available USB stick is enough to provide it with the necessary data. The advantages for the user are obvious: he can make his presentation easily and directly from the projector, he avoids long-winded cabling or possible technical obstacles and consequently saves time. The projector plays back JPEG, BMP, PNG and MPEG4-files directly from the USB stick. A provided program converts Power Point™ presentations into the JPEG format. The user controls the presentation quite comfortably with the supplier remote control and can move quickly back and forth between the individual charts if there are any questions. In the case of the XJ-S30, the multifunctional presentation kit YP-100 takes over all these jobs. CASIO's Super-Tool in pocket format therefore enables image projection without a PC and is compatible with every projector that is equipped with an RGB connection. The business projectors by CASIO offer even more. The two models are extremely flexible due to the wide-angle 2x zoom lens. For example, the devices achieve an image width of 120 cm at a projection distance of between 160 cm and 320 cm – in other words, the ideal conditions for use in small as well as big conference rooms. A further success factor of the XJ-S series is the new cooling technology. It keeps the operating noises low, thus ensuring pleasant room acoustics. Due to this convincing technology and extremely simple operation, the XJ-S35 and the XJ-S30 as well as the optional accompanying multifunctional presentation kit YP-100 are the guarantee for a successful appearance.
