Norderstedt, March 2006 -
The ideal beginner instrument: It offers lots of fun, guarantees a sense
of achievement, is simple to operate and features an enormous scope
of sounds. All this and much more is inside new CTK-710 by CASIO.
With the full range of five octaves, it is the perfect start into the world
of the keys. As always with CASIO, this also goes for the purchase: At
real beginner price, this new instrument will be available from music
dealers from July 2006.
A good sound is indispensable when playing music, especially for a
beginner instrument, which is supposed to encourage and motivate its
players. The upgraded sound generation in CTK-710 creates impressively
powerful sounds, and the polyphony offers 32 simultaneous voices.
242 vivacious tones including a stereo grand piano are waiting to
be discovered and awakened.
A must for all ambitioned beginners: the 3-level learning system, which
includes a scoring system and fingering guide. The scoring system
assesses individual skill and delivers useful evaluations, the fingering
guide indicates the correct fingering – and both are shown via the display.
A further feature typical of CASIO: the microphone input on the
front of the keyboard. In this manner one can sing together with an
accompaniment and the variety of purposes the instrument can be
used for is enlarged.
At the same time, the USB port of this MIDI instrument - not really to
be taken for granted in this bracket – is easily accessible and provides
a simple connection to the PC. In trendy black, this young keyboard is
also a real trailblazer in terms of design. Black is back!
Top-Features: 61 keys, 242 tones including stereo piano, 32-voice
polyphony, 3-level lesson system, microphone input / USB, GM MIDI
