With its young, fresh and engaged appearance at last years music fair,
CASIO was a crowd puller in 5.0. The fair booth, open top all sides,
told visitors: No fear of contact please, just go ahead and give the gear
a try! The karaoke events were also welcomed enthusiastically by the
audience, such infotainment is widely popular. This is the starting point
for CASIO in 2006. Information! Interest! Inspiration! is the motto the
fair crew are adhering to. The aim: to make the CASIO booth (A48) the
central drawing card in hall 5.0.
CASIO will be presenting no less than six fair novelties at the music fair
and will be demonstrating sales partners and end customers the most
current keyboard trends: In the beginner range beginning at 5 octaves,
a new CTK model is waiting for all curious greenhorns, and three "fully
refurbished" Lighting Key keyboards represent even more fun when
playing with friends or family. The WK models now feature USB and
SD card for uncomplicated data transfer between the PC and the
Keyboard. Also with regard to IDES, the free Internet expansion to the
keyboard, CASIO always has novelties to offer. Presently, brand new
disco hits from the 70s can be downloaded from the CASIO music site.
The entire product range can be tested and examined from all sides at
the "Tryout Stations." In the "Active Areas", the PRIVIA series and
Internet expanding via IDES are presented. For this purpose, CASIO
has again been able to win over two blooded musicians - when Merih
Aktoprak lets her fingers stroke PX-700 and PX-310 or Markus
Kuczewski shifts the virtual drawbars on the IDES keyboards, the audience
will surely rave.
On stage at the centre of the CASIO booth live music will be presented
four times a day. At 10 a.m., 12 noon, 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. we will
proclaim: "It's karaoke time!" Who has the courage to get up to the
microphone to demonstrate his singing qualities? Karaoke entertainer
Ralph Maten (CASIO) knows how to enthral his audience ...
Afterwards, the digital pianos from the PRIVIA range and the IDES
software will be filling the stage alternately here the public will again
be confronted not with a dry presentation but with a musically vivid
demonstration containing numerous sound examples.
On public Saturday then the highlight: CASIO seeks the karaoke star!
The jury competently supported by artists and producer Uwe
Fahrenkrog-Petersen will then choose the best voice of the nine candidates
determined at the pre-castings. Great prizes a karaoke keyboard
and a studio session with Uwe Fahrenkrog-Peterson, for
instance make the singing contest on the CASIO stage a must for all
vocal aficionados. "Live for the music" at the CASIO booth, the
motto of the fair is filled with life.
