Precise to the second: the new Casio EDIFICE EQW-M710DB-1A1ER
Intelligence and speed in the promised design Norderstedt, February 2010 - Casio brand ambassador and current vice-world champion Sebastian Vettel will start the new Formula 1 season in a few weeks - and at the same time CASIO is continuing its successful partnership with the Red Bull Racing Formula 1 team. The new model from Casio's EDIFICE collection takes to the starting line under the "Speed and Intelligence" brand concept: the EQW-M710DB-1A1ER is the ideal combination of intelligent functionality, innovative technology and sporty elegance. The high quality workmanship and exclusive design of the EQW-M710DB will not only enthuse race lovers: the casing and band are made from solid stainless steel and the band stands out due to the optical combination of polished and brushed surfaces. The black ionised bezel features abbreviations for the most important cities in the integrated world time function. A combination of black and silver with red accents emphasises the closeness of this radio-controlled watch to Formula 1. The left eye of the dial imitates a rev counter in a Formula 1 cockpit. The crowns to the right are a real eye-catcher: the upper side with its striking red edging harmonises with the colourful motor sport design of the watch and the centre one, which is responsible for measuring time, is inserted into the casing for protection. In technical terms the new EDIFICE offers a very special highlight which transforms the collection's characteristic feel for speed and energy: the simultaneous display of three second units (Triple Sequential Chronograph). This very detailed stopwatch has been arranged on the EQW-M710DB in three intersecting eyes in the centre of the dial. To the left 1/100 seconds, in the centre 1/10 seconds and 1/1 seconds and minutes to the right are shown. When you press the stopwatch the displays are activated and show the time in parallel in their own time units. It is not only motor sport fans that will love this refinement.
