| Establishment of a new CASIO subsidiary company in the Netherlands |

Tokyo, 31. March 2006 - The electronic group CASIO Computer Co. Ltd, Japan is founding CASIO Benelux B.V. with effect from April 1st, 2006. The full subsidiary of CASIO Computer Co. Ltd. Japan, headquartered in Amstelveen, the Netherlands, will be taking over the responsibility for the sales and marketing of the product sectors Digital Imaging (Digital Cameras) as well as Office- and School Equipment. Shigeru Watanabe and Maxim Paul Krukziener will take the positions of Managing Directors.
The responsibility of CASIO Benelux B.V. for the Dutch market will include the product sectors Digital Imaging and Office & School Equipment. The product fields Watches, Electronic Music Instruments, Professional Visual Products (Data Projectors) and Mobile Industrial Solutions (Mobile Data Collection) remain in the accountability of the current Europe headquarter, CASIO Europe GmbH, in cooperation with the responsible Dutch distributors.
CASIO Benelux B.V., with a total of 13 employees and equity capital of 1 million Euro, will profit from the geographic proximity to the Europe headquarters in Norderstedt, Germany. "CASIO Benelux B.V. can count on the existing and well-functioning infrastructure of CASIO Europe GmbH from the very first day", said Hiroshi Nakamura, Managing Director of the European Headquarters, which is responsible for the uniform European brand image as well as the pan-European sales and marketing strategy in the Group's different trading areas. The synergy effects arising in almost all areas will be used to achieve higher efficiency within the entire European organisation and a maximisation of market share in the segments of Digital Photography and Office & School Equipment in the Dutch market, Nakamura went on.
Shigeru Watanabe and Maxim Paul Krukziener, Managing Directors of the newly founded CASIO Benelux B.V., are already expecting a clear substantial increase in turnover in the financial year 2006 in the product ranges for which they are responsible. "With its over 16 million inhabitants and a good functioning economic system, the Netherlands represents considerable growth potential for CASIO", said Shigeru Watanabe, who was employed by CASIO Europe GmbH as a manager from 2001 to 2006 and will now work for CASIO Benelux B.V. "I am looking forward to bringing my many years of experience as a CASIO Distributor into the Dutch market. They will be very useful in achieving our ambitious targets in an environment characterised by fierce competition", said his Managing Director colleague Krukziener.
