Casio launches Europe-wide search for a Baby-G model
Enter the “Become a Baby-G Model” contest now


Norderstedt / Germany, September 2009 – From colourful trendy watches with a stylish look through to sophisticated models for the perfect image at work or after work clubs, Casio’s Baby-G brand offers young women the right accessory for their wrist for every occasion. Casio is now offering all Baby-G fans throughout Europe the chance to become a model and be shooted by a professional photographer while wearing a Baby-G watch from the 2010 spring/summer collection.

For this purpose Casio is launching its pan-European “Become a Baby-G Model” contest mid-September. Entries are invited from women between the ages of 18 and 29 who feel at ease before a camera and identify with Baby-G. The main prize winner can look forward to a professional photo shoot in Hamburg with a photographer who always manages to bring out the best in amateur models. The winner's photographs will be included in the 2010 Europe-wide Baby-G spring/summer campaign. The winner will also receive her own model comp card.

The competition is open for entries between September 17 and November 29 at www.baby-g.eu, where potential models can enter two photos. Website users will then be asked to choose the finalists from amongst the entered images in several voting rounds. In early December, an expert jury will then select the winner of the 2010 “Become a Baby-G Model” contest from amongst these finalists.

From mid-September the competition will also be promoted through posters and brochures in retail stores to ensure all young, aspiring models are fully aware of the competition. More details will soon be available on the Baby-G website. It’s worthwhile taking part as all participants in the contest and voters have the chance of winning a high-calibre Casio product, such as a watch or camera.

Don’t miss this chance to become part of the Europe-wide Baby-G campaign. Casio might even be giving some participants a lifetime opportunity to be discovered as a model for assignments in Paris, Milan or Berlin.
