Protected from impacts and splashed water in accordance with IP54
CASSIOPEIA Pocket PCs from CASIO stand for absolute reliability and long life - they prove themselves daily in hard use. The IT-10 handles the adversities of everyday life easily. The attractive, durable plastic casing and the internal magnesium sheath protects it reliably from impacts and vibrations. The IT-10 can survive being dropped from a 1 metre height, is protected from dust and splashed water in accordance with IP54. It can be stored at temperatures between -20°C and 60°C and works perfectly at temperatures between 0°C and 40°C.
9,4 cm (3,7") CASIO transflective colour-LCD
The transflective colour-LCD of the IT-10 is held in a rubberised frame which absorbs impacts. It provides a needle-sharp, high-contrast image, which is easy to read in all lighting conditions. With 480 x 640 pixels, the colour-LCD is extremely well suited to displaying fine image details and web-based contents. It provides resolution which is four times higher than normal ¼-VGA displays. Thanks to the panorama mode, the display contents can be turned though 90° at the press of a button. The excellent power management of the IT-10 permits the lowest possible power consumption and therefore long operating times - even with particularly display-intensive applications.
Well thought-through design and the simplest possible operation
Everywhere where versatility, reliability and toughness are required, the IT-10 ensures work is made easier and efficiency is increased. With its weight of about 290g, it is comfortably light. Its ergonomic housing design guarantees efficient, fatigue-free work for many hours. The IT-10 also ensures the minimisation of mistakes via its extremely reliable data storage.
Power management
The IT-10 obtains its power from removable lithium ion batteries (2300mAh). Its excellent power management permits the lowest possible power consumption and therefore operating periods of up to 27 hours*. An NiMH back-up battery is integrated in the unit to save user data. In addition, the IT-10 has a memory independent of the battery - the memory back-up, which guarantees extremely reliable data storage, supported by CASIO's auto recovery program.

Excellent wide range of connection and interface options
The IT-10, which is fitted with a 416 MHz Intel®PXA270 Application Processor, has 64 MB RAM and 64 MB F-ROM (user-area approx. 20 MB) memory capacity. An SD-card slot, a CF-card slot and an IrDA are already fitted to this terminal as standard. The SD slot supports "SDIO NOW!", so that not only memory cards can be used there but also, if necessary e.g. Sd-card scanners or cameras. Data stored on the terminal can also be transferred to an SD- or CF-card if necessary. In addition, a serial interface (26-pin) for the connection of external modules is also available.
