Another design prize for the V-R100 cash register and information terminal by Casio.
The German Design Council has honoured the V-R100 cash register and information terminal as one of the winners of the German Design Award 2014. A jury comprised of 30 design experts selected the Casio product from 1,900 submissions for an “Special Mention” in the “Industrial Products" category.
After the iF Design Award 2013, awarded by iF International Forum Design GmbH, as awards for excellent industrial design, the German Design Award 2014 is already the second design prize for the V-R100.
The Casio V-R100 cash register and information terminal, which has won two awards, is well accepted in hospitality, bakery and retail businesses by its compact and stylish design, simplicity of operation, and internet connectivities based on AndroidTM platform since it is launched.
