CASIO Europe presents Controls for IT-600 and DT-X30
Norderstedt / 27.11.08 For the first time CASIO Europe presents programmer controls for the mobile data collection terminals IT-600 und DT-X30. Whole program parts simply can be combined via drag-and-drop with these control elements. Thus the work of developers is facilitated enormously. A repeated integration of complete code parts can now be done faster, more easily and so rise the productivity of software developing employees. New technology and product features always imply risks for developing software companies. Programs have to be written and tested and this burns precious time and money. To shorten this procedure CASIO has pushed the development of unique controls. Software for mobile terminals can now be combined component for component and obviates the need for writing old code line by line. The development process of this innovation lasted more than a year and simplifies the programming of mobile terminals dramatically. Development sequences that took several days are reduced to several seconds, says Arne Reinelt, Technical Support at CASIO Europe. First we have initiated the popular Terminals IT-600 and the new DT-X30, but soon other products will follow. The first controls for the two devices contain for now the activation of the integrated camera and GPS chip set. In this way every application can easily be connected with the functions of the device. This extraordinary technology for the software development is offered for free by CASIO Europe and supports Visual Basic and C# in Microsoft Visual Studio 2005 (or later).
